Penelitian ini bertujuan merekonstruksi model sekolah unggul berkelanjutan melalui integrasi Place-Based Education (PBE) dan pemberdayaan masyarakat di kawasan lahan basah. Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh model sekolah unggul yang masih berorientasi pada prestasi akademik dan budaya mutu internal sehingga belum optimal memanfaatkan potensi lingkungan dan masyarakat sebagai sumber belajar kontekstual. Padahal, kawasan lahan basah memiliki potensi ekologis, sosial, dan budaya yang relevan bagi pendidikan berkelanjutan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui kajian literatur dengan metode conceptual thematic synthesis. Data diperoleh dari artikel ilmiah, buku, dan dokumen akademik yang relevan, kemudian dianalisis melalui identifikasi konsep, sintesis tematik, dan rekonstruksi model konseptual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi PBE, pemberdayaan masyarakat, dan potensi lahan basah mampu membangun budaya sekolah ekologis, ecological literacy, dan karakter keberlanjutan peserta didik. Model ini memperkuat hubungan antara sekolah, masyarakat, dan lingkungan sebagai dasar pengembangan pendidikan yang kontekstual, partisipatif, dan berorientasi pada pembangunan berkelanjutan.
