Abstract

This study aims to examine healthy eating patterns in the Qur'an and analyse their impact on mental health from the perspective of Ibn Ashur in Tafsir At-Tahrir wa Tanwir. The study was prompted by the increasing consumption of unhealthy food in modern society, which not only affects physical health, but also influences psychological conditions such as stress, anxiety, and emotional instability. The study uses a qualitative method with a library research approach and a thematic (maudhu’i) approach. Primary data for the study was obtained from Tafsir At-Tahrir wa Tanwir, while secondary data was obtained from various literature on tafsir, hadith, and health studies. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis on verses of the Qur'an related to healthy eating. The results of the study show that, according to Ibn Ashur, healthy eating patterns in the Qur'an include eating halal and thayyib foods, not overeating, consuming a balanced diet, and eating with the intention of worship. These habits influence the clarity of the mind, emotional stability, inner peace, and mental well-being. The study concludes that the concept of healthy eating in the Qur'an is not only intended to maintain physical health, but is also closely related to mental health. Therefore, a diet that aligns with the values of the Qur'an can be one way to build a healthy, balanced and harmonious life, both physically and mentally.

 

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pola makan sehat dalam Al-Qur’an serta menganalisis pengaruhnya terhadap kesehatan jiwa menurut perspektif Ibnu Asyur dalam Tafsir At-Tahrir wa Tanwir. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh meningkatnya pola konsumsi makanan tidak sehat di masyarakat modern yang tidak hanya berdampak pada kesehatan fisik, tetapi juga memengaruhi kondisi psikologis seperti stres, kecemasan, dan ketidakstabilan emosi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dan pendekatan tafsir tematik (maudhu’i). Data primer penelitian berasal dari Tafsir At-Tahrir wa Tanwir, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari berbagai literatur tafsir, hadis, dan kajian kesehatan. Analisis data dilakukan melalui metode content analysis terhadap ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an yang berkaitan dengan pola makan sehat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa menurut Ibnu Asyur, pola makan sehat dalam Al-Qur’an mencakup makanan halal dan thayyib, tidak berlebihan dalam makan, mengonsumsi makanan bergizi seimbang, serta pola makan yang berorientasi pada ibadah. Pola tersebut berpengaruh terhadap kejernihan akal, kestabilan emosi, ketenangan batin, dan kesejahteraan jiwa seseorang. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa konsep pola makan sehat dalam Al-Qur’an tidak hanya bertujuan menjaga kesehatan jasmani, tetapi juga memiliki hubungan erat dengan kesehatan jiwa. Dengan demikian, pola makan yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Al-Qur’an dapat menjadi salah satu upaya dalam membangun kehidupan yang sehat, seimbang, dan harmonis secara fisik maupun mental.
