Abstract

Penggunaan kosmetik yang tidak aman merupakan persoalan kesehatan masyarakat yang berkaitan dengan pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku (knowledge, attitude, and practice [KAP]), yang dapat bervariasi menurut kelompok usia. Penelitian ini bertujuan menelaah dan membandingkan pola KAP terkait penggunaan kosmetik aman pada remaja, mahasiswa, dan masyarakat umum berdasarkan bukti dari Indonesia dan sejumlah negara. Tinjauan sistematis dilakukan melalui penelusuran literatur yang menghasilkan 220 artikel, kemudian diseleksi berdasarkan kerangka PRISMA hingga diperoleh 20 studi yang diterbitkan pada 2021–2026. Kualitas metodologis studi dinilai menggunakan instrumen Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) untuk studi potong lintang, sedangkan temuan disintesis secara naratif berdasarkan kelompok usia. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan cenderung meningkat dari remaja ke mahasiswa dan dewasa, tetapi sikap positif tidak selalu tercermin dalam perilaku aman. Hubungan pengetahuan dan perilaku bervariasi antarstudi, mengindikasikan kesenjangan pengetahuan-perilaku (knowledge–behaviour gap) yang dipengaruhi faktor eksternal. Verifikasi legalitas produk, penggunaan pelindung matahari, dan pelaporan efek samping juga masih rendah pada seluruh kelompok. Temuan ini menegaskan perlunya intervensi edukasi yang disesuaikan dengan karakteristik dan kebutuhan setiap kelompok usia.
