Abstract

Kepuasan kerja karyawan merupakan aspek yang penting dalam industri perbankan mengingat meningkatnya tuntutan pekerjaan, transformasi digital, dan persaingan yang semakin ketat. Rendahnya kepuasan kerja dapat memicu meningkatnya stres kerja, menurunkan produktivitas, serta meningkatkan keinginan karyawan untuk meninggalkan organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh ambidextrous leadership dan humour use terhadap kepuasan kerja dengan stres kerja sebagai variabel mediasi pada karyawan bank swasta di Jakarta. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain survei cross-sectional. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 165 karyawan bank swasta di Jakarta yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner daring dan dianalisis menggunakan metode Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SmartPLS. Hipotesis penelitian mencakup pengaruh ambidextrous leadership dan humour use terhadap kepuasan kerja, pengaruh keduanya terhadap stres kerja, pengaruh stres kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja, serta peran mediasi stres kerja dalam hubungan antara ambidextrous leadership dan humour use terhadap kepuasan kerja. Hasil penelitian diharapkan memberikan kontribusi teoretis dalam pengembangan kajian perilaku organisasi serta menjadi masukan praktis bagi manajemen bank dalam meningkatkan kepuasan kerja karyawan melalui penerapan kepemimpinan yang adaptif dan budaya kerja yang positif.
