Virtualitas Karomah: Ambivalensi Legitimasi Kepemimpinan Digital Vasko Ruseimy di Sumatera Barat Pasca-Pilkada 2024

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh urgensi transformasi digital yang menggeser legitimasi kepemimpinan ke ruang virtual, tetapi memicu ketegangan dengan nilai budaya dan agama lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis konstruksi virtualitas karomah dan ambivalensi legitimasi kepemimpinan digital Vasko Ruseimy di Sumatera Barat pasca-Pilkada 2024. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan archival-elicited hybrid netnography pada akun Instagram @vasco_ruseimy melalui fase investigasi, interaksi, imersi, dan integrasi yang dipadukan dengan analisis kepemimpinan simbolik. Temuan utama menunjukkan bahwa Vasko berhasil membangun citra kedekatan emosional dan penguatan identitas kultural Minangkabau ("virtualitas karomah"). Meskipun demikian, hal ini melahirkan ambivalensi karena adanya negosiasi makna dari audiens berupa tuntutan akuntabilitas dan kinerja nyata (output legitimacy). Studi ini berkontribusi memperluas teori kepemimpinan simbolik pada ranah politik virtual non-Barat. Kesimpulannya, legitimasi digital bersifat cair dan rapuh jika hanya mengandalkan simbol visual tanpa keselarasan kinerja empiris di lapangan. Penelitian mendatang disarankan mengeksplorasi platform digital lain serta menguji keberlanjutan legitimasi ini secara jangka panjang.
