Rekonstruksi Peran Komite Sekolah dalam Mendukung Pertumbuhan Petani Milenial : Studi Kasus di SMK-PP Negeri Kupang

Abstract

Krisis regenerasi petani di Indonesia merupakan tantangan struktural yang mengancam keberlanjutan pangan. Sensus Pertanian 2023 menunjukkan dominasi petani berusia lanjut, sementara keterlibatan generasi muda rendah. SMK PP Negeri Kupang telah mengintegrasikan kurikulum pertanian dan Program Penumbuhan Wirausahawan Muda Pertanian (PWMP) untuk mendorong lahirnya petani milenial. Namun, pelaksanaannya menghadapi hambatan sosiokultural, terutama stigma negatif terhadap profesi petani dan terbatasnya akses siswa terhadap lahan keluarga. Penelitian ini menganalisis peran Komite Sekolah dan merumuskan rekonstruksinya sebagai agen rekayasa sosial yang menjembatani sekolah, keluarga, dan masyarakat. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus di SMK PP Negeri Kupang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran Komite Sekolah masih terbatas pada komunikasi, penyelesaian masalah, dan dukungan pendanaan. Berdasarkan model kemitraan Joyce Epstein, Komite Sekolah direposisi sebagai agen pengasuhan yang menyosialisasikan prospek pertanian dan memfasilitasi pemanfaatan lahan keluarga sebagai media praktik siswa. Rekonstruksi ini dapat memperkuat efektivitas PWMP dan mempercepat regenerasi petani milenial di Nusa Tenggara Timur.
