Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan Ipteks bagi Masyarakat (IbM) dilaksanakan agar petani 1001 bunga dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraannya dengan memberikan pendampingan dalam manajemen usaha dan teknologi tepat guna bagi Usaha Kecil yang bergerak di bidang tanaman bonsai, Desa Banyuurip, Kecamatan Kedamean, Kabupaten Gresik. Sasaran dari kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat (PKM) adalah pemilik sekaligus pengelola usaha di bidang Tanaman Bonsai.

Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh Usaha Kecil Menengah (UKM) Tanaman Bonsai ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan dalam mengelola usaha, tanpa ada perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pembukuan dan evaluasi. Disamping itu juga belum adanya strategi pemasaran, hanya menjual di sekitar lokasi dan belum tersentuh Teknologi Tepat Guna (TTG).

Berkenaan dengan hal tersebut perlu ada transfer of knowledge tentang fungsi manajemen, dan memanfaatkan teknologi berupa gergaji mesin guna memberikan kemudahan dalam pengerjaan tanaman bonsai.

Penggunaan mesin gergaji dan penerapan manajemen usaha yang telah dilakukan petani terbukti mampu meningkatkan pendapatan karena pengerjaan tanaman bonsai yang berkualitas dengan memanfaatkan teknologi tepat guna dan penerapan manajemen usaha yang efektif.
