This research seeks to examine the correlation between users' perceptions of the AI chatbot's utility and risks and their actual use patterns on e-commerce platforms in the Jabodetabek region, as assessed using Behavioral intention. The quantitative survey methodology was used to survey 256 randomly chosen individuals. The information was gathered using an online questionnaire on a five-point Likert scale. The perceived danger did not significantly influence Behavioral intention, but perceived utility had a favourable and statistically meaningful effect. Behavioral Intention has a significant and positive influence on Actual Use Behavioral, but Perceived Usefulness lacks a direct impact on Actual Use Behavioral. The perceived risk positively and significantly affects actual use behaviour, contradicting the anticipated assumption. Moreover, Behavioral intention serves as a mediator between perceived benefit and actual Behavioral use, but it does not mediate the relationship between perceived risk and actual Behavioral usage.
