Pengaruh Self-Compassion terhadap Psychological Distress pada Mahasiswa Aktif Berorganisasi dalam Menghadapi Tuntutan Akademik dan Organisasi

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kontribusi self-compassion terhadap psychological distress pada mahasiswa yang aktif berorganisasi. Mahasiswa yang aktif mengikuti organisasi kemahasiswaan menghadapi tuntutan akademik dan organisasi secara bersamaan sehingga berpotensi mengalami tekanan psikologis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain non-eksperimental cross-sectional yang melibatkan 341 mahasiswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Self-compassion diukur menggunakan Skala Welas Diri (SWD), sedangkan psychological distress diukur menggunakan Kessler Psychological Distress Scale (K10). Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa self-compassion merupakan prediktor yang signifikan terhadap psychological distress (F(1,339) = 77,2; p < 0,001) dengan nilai R² sebesar 0,185. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa self-compassion menjelaskan 18,5% variasi psychological distress, dengan arah hubungan negatif, sehingga semakin tinggi self-compassion maka semakin rendah psychological distress. Hasil penelitian menegaskan pentingnya pengembangan self-compassion sebagai salah satu sumber daya psikologis untuk membantu mahasiswa menghadapi tuntutan akademik dan organisasi serta mendukung upaya promotif kesehatan mental di perguruan tinggi.
