Abstract

Compulsory Curriculum Courses (MKWK) aim to develop ethical judgement, Pancasila-based citizenship, national identity, academic communication, and responsible public participation. However, assessment practices are still dominated by conventional methods that are not yet optimal in measuring reflection, argumentation, collaboration, and value-based actions. This study aims to identify the determining factors in the utilisation of digital platforms for MKWK assessment and develop a pedagogical framework for assessment innovation. The study employed a qualitative descriptive document analysis of 18 documents consisting of policies, implementation reports, and scholarly studies related to MKWK, digital assessment, authenticity, feedback, and academic integrity. The findings revealed six key factors: technological readiness, digital assessment competence, pedagogical alignment, accessibility and inclusion, security and academic integrity, and institutional governance. The results indicate that transforming MKWK assessment cannot be achieved merely through the adoption of digital platforms but requires an ecosystem that supports authentic tasks, meaningful feedback, valid assessment practices, and secure data governance.
