Upaya Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Kognitif Siswa Melalui Model Pembelajaran Inquiry Learning pada Mata Pelajaran IPAS Kelas VI SD Naskat II ST Ignasius Olilit Timur

Dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran inquiry dalam mata pelajaran IPAS, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas enam di Sekolah Dasar Naskat II St. Ignasius Olilit Timur. Rendahnya persentase siswa yang mencapai tingkat kompetensi yang diharapkan hanya 43,48% pada tahap pra-penelitian. Hal tersebut di akibatkan maraknya metode ceramah yang berpusat pada guru serta dampak penggunaan gadget yang menurunkan kemauan belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan pada setiap siklus. Tingkat penguasaan materi klasik naik menjadi 66% pada Siklus I, meskipun angka tersebut masih di bawah target. Tingkat penguasaan materi klasik meningkat menjadi 86,96% dengan nilai rata-rata 82,17 setelah penerapan tindakan perbaikan pada Siklus II, seperti pembagian kartu peran, penggunaan media, dan optimalisasi manajemen waktu. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam pembelajaran IPAS, model pembelajaran berbasis penemuan meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa.
