Abstract

Pendidikan karakter merupakan salah satu fokus utama dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka yang bertujuan membentuk peserta didik berkarakter sesuai Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Keberhasilan pendidikan karakter di sekolah sangat dipengaruhi oleh efektivitas manajemen kurikulum dan manajemen pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh manajemen kurikulum dan manajemen pembelajaran terhadap peningkatan pendidikan karakter di SMP Negeri 3 Pasawahan Purwakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksplanatif. Populasi penelitian meliputi guru dan peserta didik, dengan sampel yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik probability sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner tertutup berbasis skala Likert dan dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif serta regresi linier sederhana dan berganda dengan bantuan SPSS.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen kurikulum berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap peningkatan pendidikan karakter. Manajemen pembelajaran juga terbukti berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pendidikan karakter peserta didik. Secara simultan, manajemen kurikulum dan manajemen pembelajaran memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan pendidikan karakter di SMP Negeri 3 Pasawahan Purwakarta. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi kurikulum yang terkelola dengan baik, serta pembelajaran yang dirancang secara sistematis dan berorientasi nilai, berperan penting dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi rujukan bagi sekolah dan pemangku kepentingan pendidikan dalam mengoptimalkan pengelolaan kurikulum dan pembelajaran untuk memperkuat pendidikan karakter.
