Abstract

Turnamen olahraga pelajar tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai ajang kompetisi, tetapi juga memiliki potensi sebagai media pengembangan karakter dan pemberdayaan generasi muda. Namun, pembinaan olahraga pelajar di Pulau Lombok masih menghadapi keterbatasan wadah kompetisi yang terintegrasi dengan penguatan nilai sportivitas, kepemimpinan, dan keterampilan sosial siswa. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model sport-based youth empowerment melalui turnamen futsal antar SMA se-Pulau Lombok guna mendukung pembentukan generasi muda yang berprestasi dan berkarakter. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR) berbasis Positive Youth Development (PYD) melalui tahapan identifikasi kebutuhan, perencanaan program, pelaksanaan turnamen, penguatan karakter berbasis experiential learning, serta evaluasi menggunakan pendekatan mixed methods. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa program berhasil meningkatkan motivasi berprestasi, sportivitas, kerja sama tim, komunikasi interpersonal, dan partisipasi sosial peserta. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga berhasil membangun kolaborasi positif antara sekolah, komunitas olahraga, dan perguruan tinggi dalam pengembangan olahraga pelajar berbasis karakter. Program ini berimplikasi sebagai model pembinaan olahraga pelajar berbasis pemberdayaan generasi muda yang dapat dikembangkan secara berkelanjutan pada tingkat regional maupun nasional.
