This study aimed to analyze the framing of gender-based sexual violence against women journalists in BincangPerempuan.com news coverage. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed using the Gamson and Modigliani framing model. Three news articles were analyzed as the primary units of analysis through framing devices, including metaphors, catchphrases, exemplars, depictions, and visual images, and reasoning devices, including roots, consequences, and appeals to principle. Voyant Tools was used as a text exploration aid to identify word frequency patterns and relationships, while source triangulation was applied to strengthen the credibility of the interpretation. The findings showed that BincangPerempuan.com constructed a media package that positioned victims and gender dimensions as important elements of news coverage. In the case of the sexual harassment of a Liputan6.com journalist, the framing emphasized professional safety and protection. In the Juwita case, the framing connected sexual violence with intimate femicide, gender relations, justice, and victim recovery. The findings indicated that violence against women journalists was constructed not merely as an individual incident but also as a professional issue and a manifestation of gender-based power relations. The study concluded that a gender perspective played an important role in constructing news coverage of violence against women journalists and strengthening attention to victim protection, professional safety, justice, and recovery.
